This is a 2-part handbulding ceramics workshop led by Nigel Callisto. You'll make & glaze several pinch pots or vessels from stoneware clay.
Join me in my personal East Nashville studio for a hands-on clay workshop where you’ll learn the timeless art of pinch pots. I’ve been working with clay for over 20 years, and since 2023 I’ve loved sharing the joy of ceramics through workshops in my space.
In this two-part workshop, you’ll use your own two hands (and some simple tools, if you’d like) to create pinch pots, vases, small vessels, or anything your imagination sparks. You’ll have the choice to work with handbuilding techniques or use my slab roller.
✨Session 2 – Sunday, Oct 5 (3–5 PM): Return to glaze your work.
No experience? No problem. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced ceramicist, this workshop is designed to be fun, creative, and approachable.
